Hands on Maths Students across the school have been using hands on Maths activities to support their learning in Maths this semester. Students have been exploring the numbers before and after a given number using number lines, dice and 120 charts. They have been plotting fractions on a number line and representing fractions during a weekly Maths Masterclass. Students have been using their creativity to explore symmetry and some have been introduced to coding programs such as Scratch.

I enjoy our Maths class because it ’ s fun. Maths is my favourite subject. Rocco I like how we challenge ourselves. Cooper I like Maths because I learn new things. Krishnika I Like Maths. Learning about 2D shapes was my favourite. Ray It ’ s fun and I love to learn about money. Rylee Maths is my favourite subject. Shane
I am getting really, really smart. I love Mathematics. Edward I get excited every week that I get to do the math class. It ’ s fun and I learn new things. Eleftheria I enjoyed Coding and the challenges. Kiara I like working with in a group with my peers and Problem Solving. Selina
