Year Seven Visual Art
What a fun semester it has been in the Art room with the year 7’ s! Students have been exploring a range of materials and techniques, and have produced some stunning work. They used paper collage for a Japanese Notan design, applied colour theory and acrylic techniques to create a tree painting, as well as construction and problem - solving skills to build a 3D Cubist face with cardboard! In between their major projects, students had fun making Halloween decorations. Despite being relocated out of the Art studio (due to exams), students have adapted to limited space and resources and continued working on their projects. So many budding artists – watch this space!
