Year Eight Hands-on-Learning! Hands on Learning has run a number of projects and activities this semester. One of the fantastic opportunities the Hands - on - Learning group had was to create a lemonade stand for the Prep class on the Primary Campus.

The Prep students were so excited to meet the students from Secondary who are part of our Hands - on - Learning Program. They came down to the Primary campus to meet our Preps and discuss some things they could possibly make using wood, we decided on a stand. Over the past couple of weeks, the Prep students were kept up to date on the progress of the stand, which will be used during our Investigation sessions. On the 6/10/22 the Secondary students presented their fabulous wood work to the Prep students, who were so excited to see to final product. We love to work collaboratively with the Secondary Campus and explore all the different things they do in Secondary School at The Lakes College. The Hands - on - Learning program also made tool boxes, a bench seat and designed a garden during the semester!
