Year Ten Food Studies
This semester in Food Studies we have learnt a lot getting ready for Units 1 and 2. We have worked through the digestive system, understanding cooking processes, functional properties of food, food preservation and nutritional knowledge. Our assessments were to create a meal for an aircraft where we had to design a filling meal that would be appropriate for a long duration flight. We also had the opportunity to design a food that would be suitable for a meal box kit. We had a design task where we designed artwork for focaccias. We made these and they turned out great! Overall, it was a great semester and are looking forward to continuing learning next year!
