Staying Alive in Prep The Preps this term have been focusing on the Inquiry topic of Staying Alive. Over the term we have been learning about how all animals, including humans, use their sensory organs to gather information about their environment. Humans use their senses to gather information - not only critical for our immediate safety, but also for planning to meet our basic needs for things such as food, water and shelter. Through different science experiments, the students have been investigating their own senses in various ways, learning how our senses keep us safe.
