Machemer of The Rockefeller Grp. becomes president NAIOP New Jersey elects 2016 officers and trustees
HORT HILLS, NJ — At its Annual Meeting and Real Estate Outlook, NAIOP New Jersey , the commercial real estate devel- opment association, elected its 2016 slate of officers and trust- ees. The event was held at the Short Hills Hilton. BPU presi- dent Mroz addressed current policy developments as a result of the recently updated New Jersey Energy Master Plan, renewable energy & efficiency programs and the economic impacts of utility industry. The Southern New Jersey Development Council is a non-profit economic develop- ment-lobbying organization that promotes responsible economic development in Southern New Jersey. Richard Mroz, Esquire, was named by Governor Chris- topher Christie as president to the NJ Board of Public Utilities on October 6, 2014. President Mroz also serves as a member of the Governor’s Cabinet. n

Cassano, a CPA licensed in New Jersey, is overseeing Vision Real Estate Partners’ accounting, financial reporting and tax functions. He has 10 years of industry involvement, most recently acting as con- troller for Wilson Associates, a family real estate office. While there, he was involved in the management and ultimate dis- position of a 400,000 s/f port- folio of industrial properties. His experience also included real estate accounting and auditing positions at Deloitte & Touche LLP and Wiss & Company LLP. n
