Digital versions of this The Nebraska Bull Test, LLC bulls were tested at Rohde Farms of Mason City, NE, and only the top-performing bulls are offered in this sale. The test is open to all breeds but only registered bulls are accepted for test. Complete performance information is provided for each bull including the following: ADJUSTED 205-DAY WEANING WEIGHT - This is an adjust- ed weight recorded on the ranch which takes into account difference in age and sex of calf and age of dam. All weaning weights are adjusted to 205 days, male sex, and to a mature cow standard (5-8 years of age). GAIN ON TEST - The daily gain on test is measured over a 120- day period. All bulls should be in a conditioning period for 21 days before beginning a test. WEIGHT PER DAY OF AGE - This is the bull’s weight divided by his age (in days) at the end of the test. FINAL INDEX - This is based on an index of 1/2 average daily gain on test ratio and 1/2 weight per day of age ratio. All ratios are calculated within breed group.

FERTILITY - All bulls that sell have been fertility tested and examined for reproductive soundness by Dr. Siera Rush D.V.M. Any bulls that did not pass this examination have been re- moved from the sale. All other guarantees will be between the buyer and seller. The Nebraska Bull Test, LLC, its Board of Di- rectors, officers and management make no further guarantees. EXPECTED PROGENY DIFFERENCE - This information is furnished from each breed’s association through their perfor- mance records program. ULTRASOUND - All bulls were ultrasounded. We will provide the ultrasound data on a supplement sheet on sale date. CALVING EASE (CE) - The calving-ease bulls designated in this sale book are bulls that the individual breeders feel would work on heifers. There is a separate division for Angus Calv- ing-Ease bulls with a requirement of BW EPDs of +1.5 or less and a BW of 84 lbs. or less. These Calving-Ease Angus were ratioed separately. For more information on a particular calv- ing-ease bull, please visit the bull’s owner.
