PACK EXPO Las Vegas Exceeds Expectations With Record Attendance PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Tech- nologies, announced record attendance at this year’s PACK EXPO conference held in Las Vegas earlier this month. Nearly 32,000 attendees engaged with more than 2,300 exhibitors at the Las Vegas Convention Center. “PACK EXPO Las Vegas was a huge win for the pack- aging and processing industry,” says Jim Pittas, President and CEO, PMMI. “From attendance to exhibition space to educational sessions – the show surpassed expectations to provide our largest, most comprehensive show to date.” As PMMI’s State of the Industry reports steady industry growth of 3.4 percent with the total size of the US mar- ket reaching $10.2 billion.
