Trex Company, Inc. (hereinafter “Trex”) warrants to the original end-use purchaseK (“Purchaser”) that, for the applicable Warranty Period set forth in Table I below, whe< properly installed, used and maintained under normal use and service conditions/ and in accordance with Trex’s written instructions, Trex® product set forth in TablC I below (the “Product”) shall be free from material defects in workmanship an materials, and shall not crack, peel, blister, ake, split, or su er excessive corrosion Corrosion is termed extensive when there are multiple rust-through perforations o< the same piece of Product Residential/Commercial Application: For purposes of this warranty, a “residentiao application” shall refer to an installation of the Product on an individual residencel and a “commercial application” shall refer to any installation of the Product othe than on an individual residencea Term of Limited Warranty: The term of this Limited Warranty for a Product (th “Warranty Period”) begins on the date of original purchase and shall be either (1) fo a period of 1 year for Product located within 1 mile or less from a saltwater coast lin OR (2) for Product located more than 1 mile from a saltwater coastline, equal to th number of years set forth next to such Product in Table I below

EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY COVERAGà

Notwithstanding the foregoing, (a) this warranty shall not apply to any TreÅ products not listed in Table I, including, but not limited to, Trex decking productsÉ Trex cladding products, Trex fascia products, Trex fasteners, Trex Deck Lightin products, Trex Signature® railing, Trex Signature® X-Series™ railing, Treà Transcend® railing, Trex Select™ aluminum and composite railing, Trex Enhance composite railing, Trex Fencing and TrexTrim (which each have separat£ warranties); (b) with respect to installations where the atmosphere is inuence by a body of salt water (or other contaminant conditions), failure to adhere to th£ cleaning guidelines available at www.trex.com will void this warranty with respec¦ to any condition resulting from such failure; and (c) Products that have had direc¦ contact with salt water are excluded from this warranty The P roduct must b e stored, handled, installed, used and maintained in accordanc with instructions provided by Trex, and this L imited Warranty is conditioned upo< compliance with all such instructions.
