Scramble format with up to 6 or 8 people per team. In a scramble, each player hits a shot off the tee on every hole, then the team chooses the best shot, and each player plays their next shot from that spot, within one club length of the original ball. Balls may not be left on the green with the intent that other players can or might hit off them, when chipping, pitching, or putting. Maximum 6 tee shots per player. Drinks on the course at 4 and 14. Pay normal with Chips. HIO pot. What a Fun February February had the Sweetheart / Me and My Friend Tournament, and another way to enjoy a round of golf with friends. We had a great turnout this year and it looked to me as if there was nothing but fun to be had on the course. Teams were all dressed for the occasion too. This tournament was all about fun or you would never drive off the tee box and make your partner have to play from where your ball landed (I have not heard of any teams that are not talking to each other). Money made from this tournament will go to help support all of the things that your golf committee has done and will keep doing for you. We thank you for your involvement.

Volunteering We must thank all the people that gave up their time volunteering for this and every golf event. Trust us when we say that you are the unsung heroes of the golfing community. Every event, be it our Tuesday and Thursday golf or the bigger tournaments, there is a lot of moving parts that some people must help with and to the Golf Committee that shows up every event and get it done, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Saying “ See You Around ” To our golf committee members that are not returning to the committee next season, thank you for all the little things that no one sees you do, I do, and so did your team. We will miss your involvement and trust that you will do your tasks without having to make sure that it gets done. As your chair let me say, I have great respect for you and your family that were such a big part of the success of this season ’ s golf. We Are So Glad That You Are Here On behalf of your Golf Committee, we would like to thank everyone that comes out to play in our Tuesday scrambles and the Thursday Best Ball tournaments. We have enjoyed helping Ryln with these fun filled ways to play golf and meet people. If you have never tried or haven ’ t played for a while, let me cordially invite you to join us to a fun start to your morning. On the Tuesday scramble ’ s everyone tees off and then the best playable ball or best strategy needed ball is marked and everyone plays from there and if not holed then everyone plays from the closes ball to the cup until it is put into the hole, and you are on to the next hole. This format is fun for everyone, because everyone will contribute in one way or another to your team. Just bring your clubs, balls and a willingness to have fun. Teams change every week, so you never know what new friend is waiting to meet you. $5 to play On Thursdays you have a fun way of working on your game in a team format. You will play your own ball, but handicaps will be used to even up play. Most times only two scores from your team will be used per hole, so every hole is a new chance to help your team. At the end of the round, you may be surprised to see just how many times your score was used to help your team, but please remember that having fun remains the top priority. $5 to play
