Dear Producers, As always, thank you for your interest in our program. If we didn’t have loyal customers, we wouldn’t be in business. We have been honored as one of the largest seedstock producers in America for several years. Without you, this would not be possible. Starting with one cow in 1977 seems like centuries ago!! Angus are still bred for maternal - 40+ years. We push the enve - lope, but do our best to keep BALANCE in as many traits as possible. Not surprising one or two traits, selected for extremes, can ruin a cowherd. Charolais started in 2000 to give customers options for their pro - gram. We have been fortunate to create genetics that are some of the highest marbling, ribeye, carcass weight and growth in the breed. However, soundness, udder quality, disposition and fertility still have to come first. Copperheads are another option. Moderate, deep, thick, easy keeping in a hybred package. Carcass is outstanding. Bulls are working from Nebraska to New York to far South Florida and every - where in between. Profit for customers is our bottom-line goal. We provide difference breeds for use as you see fit. We are not a one-breed outfit, because we are convinced that the most total profit is hard to squeeze out of one breed for commercial producers. Moderate Angus-based females with maternal traits, good feet, ud- ders, and longevity leaves the door wide open for end-product and more profit from various ways. We are always available to offer opin - ions on different breeding programs if you desire. Our customers making profits on the cows side and market side are both our goals. Not just terminal. Galen
