This collaborative exhibit brings together the intricate craftsmanship of model railroading and the expressive diversity of visual art in a captivating, immersive experience. Featuring detailed, moving train displays by the Florida Citrus Model Train Society, alongside original works by the National League of American Pen Women, Fort Lauderdale Branch, the exhibit explores themes of travel, connection, the passage of time, and railway landscapes. Through a wide range of media, including watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, and photography, artists interpret and expand upon the motion, storytelling, and nostalgia evoked by the miniature worlds on display.
