M y perspective drawing of a room with a window overlooking the ocean and a boat reflects both my technical skills and creative vision. I used the window as a focal point to frame the serene ocean and the dynamic presence of the boat, drawing attention to the peaceful view beyond. By incorporating these elements, I aimed to create a sense of depth and openness, making the space feel connected to nature and inviting.
The process of creating this drawing aligned closely with what I learned in my Presentation Drawings course. I started with black pencil sketches to establish the geometry of the room and ensure accurate perspective lines leading to the vanishing point. This solid foundation helped me achieve a balanced and harmonious composition. Through this project, I was able to apply many of the benefits of the course. The exercise sharpened my ability to visualize and communicate my ideas clearly, while experimenting with colors and advanced tools boosted my confidence in expressing my unique style.
My favorite stage of a project is the initial meeting with a client. First impressions can genuinely influence how the client feels about the project, and you as a team or designer. Truly listening to the client can make them feel valued and important. What is your favorite stage of a project?
