A proven, versatile tool for Poa annua control, Kerb ® SC T&O specialty herbicide has multisite activity which allows it to perform in areas where resistance to modes of action of current herbicides no longer work. It also helps in instances when cross resistance to other herbicides with multiple modes of action occurs — making it an ideal rotation product in your IPM program. It’s an effective tool to transition out overseeded perennial ryegrass when warm-season turfgrasses, such as bermudagrass, are coming out of dormancy. After an application, perennial ryegrass will gradually die over a four- to six-week period. Which gives turf managers a more gradual transition and improves golf course playability during the critical transition period. Kerb SC T&O is available in a convenient liquid formulation, making it easier on equipment and easier to match rates to the treatment area. And unlike pouches, which may have to be cut open, the SC formulation reduces worker exposure. How Kerb ® SC T&O specialty herbicide Kerb ® SC T&O specialty herbicide is a residual, soil-active herbicide that works primarily by preventing cell division. The active ingredient, pronamide, acts mainly through root absorption in sensitive weed species, including ALS-resistant Poa annua . If no rainfall occurs within a day of the application, a light overhead irrigation must be made to move the chemical into the root zone.
