ing tennis on the weekends, but I stuck with it,” Wiener said. “To have a successful career, you need to build and maintain relationships, and you need to like people. Many of my clients have also become friends, and in many cases, I amnowworking with multiple generations. I love that.” Wiener values tradition and family, which is anoth- er reason the 107-year-old Kislak Company is such a good fit. He is proud to have had the opportunity to work with the company’s founder, Julius Kislak, and many other members of the Kislak family. “The Kislak Company has always been a place where we work unselfishly as a team and in our clients’ best interest,” Wiener said. “That is why I have stayed and never looked elsewhere.” Wiener’s talents were rec- ognized and he moved up through the ranks. In 1995, he was appointed president andmanaging director of The Kislak Company, a post he held for 16 years while con- tinuing to work directly with clients. During that time, he was often the company’s #1 salesperson. “Jeff is honest and really cares about people,” said Thomas Bartelmo, presi- dent and CEO of The Kislak Organization. “Clients and colleagues all know they can count on him, and that has earned him high regard and success – professionally and personally.” Since joining Kislak, Wie- ner has sold more than 200 apartment buildings, shop- ping centers and office build- ings and has the distinction of having sold more apart- ence. She will be assisting the team with all aspects of the real estate process including office administration, mar- keting, closings, tax certifica- tions, filings and coordination of materials for lenders and clients. “We are extremely pleased to welcome Tracy to our team,” said Cindy Feinberg, principal. “She has the experience and background needed to help our start-up real estate firm excel. Tracy’s involvement will allow

His multifamily transac- tions total more than $2 billion and range from a 28- unit apartment complex in Highland Park, New Jersey, to the single largest multi- family sale in the state, a 1,492-unit complex with land for development in Maple Shade, New Jersey. His retail transactions include the sale of the 1.5 million-square-foot Monmouth Mall in Eaton- town, New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University and is a member of the National Multi Hous- ing Council, the New Jersey Apartment Association, the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey. Although Wiener made the decision to step down from most of his administrative duties in 2011, retirement is not on his agenda. He rel- ishes the role of senior sales- person, and is co-managing director with current Kislak Company president, Robert Holland. “Jeff has always been a great mentor and friend to me and all of the sales team,” Holland said. “We are ex- tremely fortunate to be able to rely on his expertise and guidance.” In his new role, Wiener does have more time for family, tennis and Scrabble, but continues to devote most of his days and energy to work. “I still love closing a deal and knowing I have done well by my clients,” Wiener said. “I am having a great time.” n us to provide focused attention on our clients and prospects with excellent administrative support.” Backed by an experienced, high-energy team, Feinberg Real Estate Advisors special- izes in commercial and indus- trial brokerage, investment sales, development consulting, government relations, real estate law, real estate closings and real estate title insur- ance throughout the Lehigh Valley. n

Kislak, chairman of The Kislak Organization. “I have always admired his warm way with clients and colleagues, and his ability to seize opportunities. The Kislak Company’s success is directly related to his suc- cess, and I congratulate and thank Jeff for an extraordi- nary four decades.” It all began back in 1973 with a nudge from Wiener’s father, Benjamin. “My father taught me that hard work and honesty are the roads to success,” said Wiener. “He had great admi- ration for The Kislak Com- pany and encouraged me to apply there. I took his advice and, as usual, he was right. It turned out to be a great match.” A natural people-person with a strong interest in psychology and sociology, Wiener had found the perfect niche. He tells new salespeo- ple that it may not be easy, but diligence and loyalty will pay off. “For my first couple of years, I was still waiting tables at night and teach-
