OWINGS MILLS, MD — Turf Valley Towne Square announced that the first an- nual “Turf Valley Trot” – a 5K Run and Family Walk that celebrated the grand opening of Turf Valley Towne Square on November 28 – resulted in a $3,971 donation to Grass- Roots Crisis Intervention Center. The event also col- lected enough food, clean- ing supplies and personal hygiene products to fill three 29-gallon donation bins to the brim on race day. Grassroots is a private, nonprofit agency that oper- ates Howard County’s only homeless shelter and certi- fied crisis intervention cen- ter. The second tower, Met- ropolitan Grand Office and Residences, will feature 24 levels of office space and 168 total apartment units with one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, plus a gym, bar, and pool with a city view. Ad Vice Studios completes project for Tanger Outlets

The Grand Metropolitan expansion will feature two high-rise towers. The first tower, Horizon Grand Hotel, will include a 221-key hotel, a new five-level retail anchor expansion area at the center of the entire development, and multiple parking levels, plus an executive sky lounge, sky ballroom, outdoor pool, and hotel amenities with a city view.

DDG was responsible for concept architecture – includ- ing defining the theme of the mall and schematics – for the original 646,000 s/f Grand Metropolitanmall, which had its formal grand opening on December 13.
