PPC Folding Carton Boot Camp Drills Down On All Areas Of The Folding Carton Industry The Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) announced the success and recent turnout for the Spring Folding Carton Boot Camp which attracted a group of nearly 70 industry professionals to its headquarters in Spring- field, Massachusetts, on May 23-24.
The two-day program offered valuable insights into every aspect of the folding carton industry and provided participants with an immersive and comprehensive training experience. Folding Carton Boot Camp is ideal for anyone new to cartons (even if not new to the industry) and non-plant personnel with limited experience outside a single plant operation. Industry newcomers gathered at Paperboard Packaging Council’s Headquar- ters in Springfield, MA, for PPC's Spring Folding Carton Boot Camp from May 23-24. Participants learned color theory, rigid box manufacturing, laminating, and all points and processes in between.
Topics such as structural design and workflow, inks and coating, tool- ing, laminating, digital die cutting, gluing and adhesives, rigid box man- ufacturing, and more were presented to the group by paperboard pack- aging industry leaders.
