Our UK Based Factory, Rolling Mills being prepared to ship all over the world

With more than 50 years of industry experience, Durston Tools, the world’s number one manufacturer of rolling mills and tools for the jewellery industry, is extremely honoured and proud to receive The King’s Award for Enterprise and International Trade 2023, making this the third time winning this amazing award and yet another milestone in its illustrious journey. Founded by William Durston, with support from his father Christopher, in the 1970s, Durston Tools has undergone a continuous evolution. From the introduction of its renowned rolling mills and now the recently patent-granted 50-1 gearbox Olivia rolling mill, to the expansion of a comprehensive range of tools for jewellery manufacturers and makers, the company has consistently grown. From all types of metal forming tools, polishing machines and, recently, a full range of workbenches for jewellers. Pushing the business forward Durston Tools’ products are available worldwide, working through dealerships networks and online. Owners Matthew and Sara Durston, who took over the company in 1993, say: “The achievement of winning awards, especially one as prestigious as The King’s Award for Enterprise and International Trade, is a testament to our dedicated team’s commitment to pushing the business forward.” Durston Tools is not just about innovation and growth; it’s also about maintaining the highest levels of craftsmanship. The company has garnered an enviable reputation for its superior value for money, on-time delivery, and unyielding commitment to quality. It is often said that a Durston rolling mill can outlive its owner, underscoring the products’ robustness and durability. A fast, reliable service worldwide As the company progresses further into 2023, a key focus is investing heavily in new product

development and continuously expanding its range. Durston Tools also places a high premium on customer and dealer relationships. Its dedicated dealership account management team and customer service team work tirelessly to provide unparalleled support to dealers and customers alike. Matthew says: “We are not just any tool supplier. We are committed to providing a comprehensive range of tools that are designed and built to last a lifetime. We aim to be the first choice for premium tools for the jewellery industry, delivering the fastest and most reliable service worldwide.” Worldwide expansion In a significant move to bolster its global presence and better serve its international customers, Durston Tools has recently opened new warehouses in Arizona, USA, and Bruges, Belgium. This strategic expansion not only enhances the company’s global logistics and distribution capabilities but also underscores its commitment to delivering prompt and efficient service to its customers around the world. With this in mind, Durston Tools is planning significant business developments, including further expansion of its product range and continuing to cultivate its relationships with partners. The company is dedicated to the continued personal development of its team, nurturing their skills to aid the growth of the business and provide expert knowledge. Durston Tools’ commitment to innovation and excellence is unwavering. With all its achievements over the past 50 years, including winning The King’s Award for Enterprise and International Trade three times, the company is now eager to give back to partners and communities, continuing to play its part in global concerns such as sustainability. Durston Tools is well-poised to continue its trajectory of growth and innovation.
