PROMOTING OPPORTUNITY

Scotland’s Bravest Manufacturing Company (SBMC)

Scotland’s Bravest Manufacturing Company is Scotland’s leading enterprise providing employment opportunities for veterans, particularly those with life-changing physical and mental disabilities brought about by service. The factory specialises in the manufacture of road and rail signs, bespoke engineering and circular economy products, as well as print and fulfilment services. With an ongoing strategy to expand, further invest in machinery and enter new markets, it ensures that more ex-servicemen and women can be given jobs to help them regain their independence and upskill in an industry-leading setting. Operating as a not-for-profit social enterprise, the factory reinvests 100% of its surplus back into the operation – and the activity of its parent charity, Royal British Legion Industries – to provide greater employment, welfare and housing opportunities to its beneficiaries. Its work can only be achieved by encouraging businesses and organisations from across all sectors to consider the social impact their business choices have within local and national communities.
