BIBLE FELLOWSHIP HOUR A s J acob of old wrestled with God and the Lord prevailed, so thirty years ago a young man on the wind- swept prairies of a Nebraska cow ranch struggled with his dreams for the future and a call for Christian service. T. Myron Webb, looking forward to a career in the medical world, pon dered over earthly trophies, “ gaining the whole world,” until the Holy Spirit illumined his path. He realized, after long periods of bitter contest, that the greatest treasures of this earth are nothing if one should lose his own soul. As a modem day Jonah, he sought to flee from the presence of the Lord, but could not. The miracle of God, however, was wrought. The Lord plainly led the earnest young man in January, 1930, while he was in a small hotel room in a midwestem city. Six months later, Dr. Webb gave his first gospel mes- sage, not from behind a pulpit, but over a radio station. The results have been as miraculous as the transforma tion in the founder-director’s life. Today, “ The Bible Fellowship Hour,” with headquarters in Montrose, Cali- fomia, encircles the globe. Through the ministry of this dedicated saint and his Spirit-filled messages, many souls have been saved, revivals and evangelistic meetings held, churches established, and missionary interest greatly enlarged. For thirty years Dr. T. M yron W ebb has been broadcasting the Gospel message over the car. N ot only does the program ministry seek to win souls for Christ and to build up saints in the faith, but also a specific missionary challenge is constantly put before the listeners. Mrs. W ebb is frequently heard on the program sharing some of the letters which are received. M ore often, however, her faithful service in the office and home is carried on behind the scenes.
