town and campus news items of interest concerning Biola NEW SCHOOL YEAR OPENS A r e c o r d enrollment for the four schools of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, Inc., is being experienced this year. Nearly one thousand stu dents are studying in the Bible Insti tute, Biola College, School of Mission ary Medicine, or Talbot Theological Seminary. Due to limited dormitory facilities, a number of the freshmen Institute and College students are be ing housed in the downtown Biola buildings. Funds to erect adequate housing on the new campus are urgently needed. All schools, with the exception of the School of Missionary Medicine, hold classes on the 75 acre La Mirada Campus. Due to the necessity of a location close to the metropolitan hospitals in which students work, the SMM has dormitory and classroom facilities in the downtown buildings. MISSIONARY LEAVES FOR HONG KONG Mrs. Robert Phillips and her two children have now joined Rev. Rob ert Phillips, assistant superintendent of Biola in Hong Kong, working par ticularly among the young people of this last stronghold of democracy on
