Heartists strive to make things better. Heartists have an ‘all-in mindset’. At Accor we aren’t a little bit committed to our people, our guests, our members and our communities, we are all-in. We are all-in because our purpose to make people feel welcome gives us meaning and joy – both personally and together. It excites us. It inspires us. Even when it’s hard. Because being all-in doesn’t mean we don’t have setbacks. Of course we do, because we are all still human. Using grit TO HELP US ALL THRIVE.

SETBACKS ARE LESSONS. But in an all-in state of mind, setbacks – however painful and discouraging as they may be, particularly in the moment – are reframed as lessons learned. Every successful person questions, at some point in their journey, whether they are aiming too high, or even pointing in the wrong direction altogether. But one day, they cross a line in the sand, and they say:

How can I do this?

When and where can I take action?

(Even when it's hard) = Passion + Perseverence PROBLEM SOLVERS

Why isn't what I'm doing working?

What do I need to do differently?
