generosity CHANGES LIVE S Qantas Lounges by Accor, First Class Lounge, NSW

A Fijian United Nations peacekeeper who lost his eyesight in the war was on his way back home for Christmas with his minder helping him. Whilst seated in the Lounge, our waiter, Peter, overheard the peacekeeper saying that he had not had a chance to get gifts for his children in Fiji given his medical condition. Our wonderful Heartist, Peter, came up to us and asked if he could go on a lunch break immediately. But instead of going to lunch, he went to all the duty-free shops at Sydney International Airport and relayed the story. Peter came back up to the Lounge with over ten bags of gifts for the peacekeeper’s children. Lounge guests around him were in tears. The spirit of generosity changes people’s lives. so many REASONS TO SPARKLE The William Inglis by MGallery, NSW Mr & Mrs Webber became part of our family - staying with us every three weeks for nearly three years. Sadly, it was because Mr Webber was undergoing cancer treatment nearby. During their most recent stay, they celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary, Mrs Webber's birthday and the results of Mr Webber's treatment. He is in remission! We discovered they were meeting their entire family to celebrate locally, so we organised for a surprise delivery of champagne at their lunch – and a few treats delivered to their room too.

helping HANDS Fairmont Resort & Spa Blue Mountains by MGallery, NSW Young Sierra and her family had been staying with us for a few days and Sierra wanted to learn more about hospitality. So we got her involved in helping our F&B team out at breakfast – and she loved it. The breakfast team then organised a 'Certificate of Appreciation' for her making Sierra feel truly welcome at the resort – what a wonderful HEARTIST moment!

what A GEM! Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, QLD

Gemma from "Little Dreamers Australia" is a carer for her dad, so when she stayed with us the team hand-curated a very special experience for her, her mum and her best friend. The experience included personalised amenities, a four-course dinner, mocktails and ice creams by the swim-up pool bar, all finished off with a high-tea experience. She felt like a "celebrity superstar!" and left with memories to last a lifetime.
