WHAT IS LOYALTY?

It’s a sense of belonging. A sense of anticipation. A sense of coming home, of feeling at peace. It’s a sense of security, that I know what's coming. I don’t have to worry. I don’t have to put on an act. I am just who I am, turning up amongst people who are who they are. To me, loyalty is trust – and security. I'm away from home so often that the one thing I try to control as much as I can is a good night's sleep. I like to eat similar things. I like to know the restaurants. I like to have a good bed. But as much as possible, I like to know the people I'm dealing with – I look forward to seeing familiar welcoming faces. I love getting to know all the staff – the housekeeping, the front desk, the restaurant teams – because they are my family when I’m away from home. I so appreciate the team members right across Accor. The ones I've met and the ones I'm yet to meet. I appreciate them. Andrew, Anthea, David, Joanne & Sean.
