I stay with Accor because I get the same experience. Consistency is very important to me. I know what to expect. I can go to one hotel and I get exactly the same service when I go to another one. So I stay a lot at one particular hotel, which had been a repatriation hotel during Covid. I discovered they had reopened so I went in to say hi - to see if some of the team that I knew were still there. A couple of team members came out and said, “I know we're not meant to do this, but can I give you a hug?” And it was just ... it made me a bit teary. They got a little bit teary too. But they were literally jumping up and down saying, “Oh, we were only just talking about you a couple of weeks ago o say I hope Joanne comes back. And I hope Joanne knows that we're open”. Then I went out and spoke to the concierge and caught up with them. I wasn’t even staying at the hotel, but he said, “Just go up to the lounge.” And I'm like, wow, thank you! It was really like a welcome home. It was fantastic. Such a good feeling. It was awesome. Joanne

I choose to come back to Accor not because there's no options, there's plenty of options out there - It's a competitive marketplace! I choose Accor because there's this wonderful consistency. I meet the same people over and over very often, and I meet a lot of new people. But the consistency at Accor is amazing. People who do their job with passion, they're present. So, they do their jobs in terms of process very professionally, but they interact in a very personal way as well. And for me, that's a really important thing, if you can find those people. I want to keep going back to those places.
