All things wild! Special knowledge

ESCAPE Year 1 had the most amazing time at All Things Wild. The children were able to look at a variety of animals that included fur, fins and feathers, linking nicely to our Science topic. The children held and stroked different animals, as well as learning whether they were carnivores, omnivores or herbivores. We loved seeing the dinosaurs and the children had some super knowledge about animals from the past. We were also excited to see the kangaroos, zebras and camels amongst other interesting animals! Going in the goat area was so much fun as we were able to stroke some of the goats. But we needed to be careful not to let them escape! 1DP and 1V managed it but unfortunately 1G let some of the goats out and a supervisor had to get a donkey to usher them back into their area – oops!

Thanks to Miss. Gill for the story!
