The architectural studio is a global player specializing in office worlds. It designed its New York office on the 24th story of the neo-Gothic Woolworth Towers to act as a lab conducting research into agile working process- es for tomorrow’s world. Based on extensive surveys, interviews and occupancy studies, the office concept is all about hot desking, mobile devices and collaborative spaces. The reception is in the form of a lounge that resembles a café and each workspace or break-out area has its own identity – from the homely ambiance of the presentation room to the almost private dining room atmosphere in the conference room to the workspaces’ down-to-earth character.
Spacious communication areas with different types of seating and interactive presentation screens define the future-driven, open spirit of the living labs, where all documents are digitized.
