Stibbe, Amsterdam, the Netherlands Interior: Fokkema & Partners Architecten Photos: Horizon Photoworks, Bram Vreugdenhil
With over 400 associated attorneys, 190 of whom are located in Amsterdam, Stibbe is one of the biggest and most well-known law firms in the Benelux region. The ten-story new build, designed by Jo Coenen Architects & Urbanists (JCAU), features a triangular atrium, which is topped by a prism-shaped skylight. For the bright building, Fokkema & Partners opted for an interior design concept that emphasizes the link between each of the rooms via open sections and visual elements and showcases the spectacular views over the city.
The interior designers underscore the geometry inherent in the structure by using similarly shaped soundproofing elements. The impressive, steel supporting structure is showcased to perfection.
