The open-space construction and grid-like look of the Coeur Cologne’s facade, designed by MSM Meyer Schmitz- Morkramer architects, looks both dynamic and exciting. This is the location of the headquarters belonging to the global hotel portal service provider HRS Group, whose slogan is We Like to Make it Happen. Each story represents another continent, which is referenced in the interior by splashes of color, materials, patterns and characteristic visuals. With its open space layout, phone booths, lounges, creative workshops and huddle rooms for teams and meetings, the concept embraces the whole range of today’s office environments.
The highlight is the building’s approximately 20-meter-tall lobby, which stands out as a four-story window within the metal/glass facade overlooking the city and symbolizes the interaction between outdoors and indoors as the quintessence of the design.
