The Waldhotel offers healthcare services in its five-star complex high above Lake Lucerne. The terraced new building (architect: Matteo Thun) with its gabion facade, wooden pergolas and green flat roofs blends into the alpine environment. On floorspace of over 4,000 square meters, the Medical Health Center’s offering ranges from conventional medicine to natural healing methods, a spa and gym. To emphasize the space’s role as an outpatient health center, the interior designers created a professional yet welcoming look and feel.
The Medical Center picked comfortable Occo task and four-leg chairs (design: jehs+laub) for its treatment and consultation rooms so that people feel comfortable while they are sitting down too.
