Belliard 40 by Art&Build Architects is a new build with lots of daylight in the heart of the European District in Brussels. Its central building provides offices for a number of organizations and associations. The European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) appointed interior designers Captif (Antwerp) to integrate the various member organizations of the parent council coherently in a new office design. The interior designers chose an open working environment with rooms placed in the space to encourage an activity- and movement-based culture.
The smaller, open huddle spaces are fitted out with mobile, task chairs from the Occo range (design: jehs+laub), while distinctive-looking Metrik cantilever chairs (design: white ID) furnish the pods.
