Combine Design was asked to create an inspiring environment for 800 workspaces in the new Leuchtenbergring Office complex of the provider of various online marketplaces. The team picked a concept based on the principle of activity-based working. They produced versatile, open spaces and communication islands on floorspace of around 8,000 square meters. The result was a nuanced office landscape with different zones for deep work, project teams, meetings and breaks all the way to interdisciplinary workshops.
People who spend hours in front of computer screens need consistent encouragement to move in different ways to keep physically and mentally fit. Which is why the studio selected the IN office chair (design: wiege), which translates the tiniest shifts in weight into movement.
