May 14-17: Women’s Weekend Russian River Women’s Weekend Russian River returns to Guerneville at R3 Hotel, 16390 4th St. in Guerneville, from May 14 to 17. Festivities take place starting around 2 p.m. Thursday through 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Weekend passes start around $199 (single- day tickets start at $50). This vibrant four-day celebration brings together community, music and connection through pool parties, live entertainment, outdoor activities and social gatherings set among the redwoods. May 14-17: Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience A multi-day culinary celebration, the Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience runs May 14 to 17, primarily around Healdsburg Plaza, 112 Matheson St. in Healdsburg, with events starting around 11 a.m. daily. Tickets begin at about $135 depending on the event. The festival brings together farmers, winemakers and renowned chefs for tastings, vineyard lunches, seminars and grand tasting experiences highlighting Sonoma County and global wines. Apr 25-26: Passport to Dry Creek Valley Wine lovers can explore participating wineries throughout Dry Creek Valley in Healdsburg during Passport to Dry Creek Valley, held April 25 to 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets typically range from $150 - $200. The popular spring event includes exclusive tastings, chef-prepared food pairings, live music and behind-the-scenes winery experiences set against the valley’s vineyard landscapes. Apr 18: Butter & Egg Days Parade & Festival Historic downtown Petaluma will host the Butter & Egg Days Parade & Festival on April 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the parade kicking off at 12 p.m. near 210 Lakeville St. in Petaluma. Admission is free. This longtime North Bay tradition features colorful floats, marching bands, crafts, food vendors and family activities celebrating Petaluma’s agricultural heritage.
