2. Make a hearty soup Making a large pot of soup every weekend is a great way to improve your nutrition throughout the week. Soups, while they can take several hours to cook, usually require very little active time. When it comes to recipes to try, your options are virtually endless. There’s hearty bean soup, pureed root vegetable soup, winter squash soup, traditional chicken noodle soup, chili, and so much more! And with temperatures dropping, what tastes better than a warm stew? 3. Select leaner sources of protein Did you know that regularly eating red meat and processed meat can raise the risk of type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, stroke and certain cancers? So, instead of opting for red meat, select leaner sources of protein for your meals and recipes. This can include chicken, turkey, beans, lentils, low fat yogurt, fish, tofu, and nuts. We can help you develop an exercise and nutrition plan that works for your needs. 3 Tips to Improve Nutrition in the Fall
What do you think of when you hear the word fall? Crisp refreshing days? Bonfires and changing leaves? Pumpkin carving? What if you were to focus on your nutrition this fall? The food we eat has a significant impact on several elements of our health, particularly our heart health. Obesity, weight gain, physical inactivity, stress, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol all increase the risk of heart disease and other cancers. Considering the importance of nutrition, it’s never the wrong time to think critically about your diet. At The Physiotherapy Center LTD, we know that fall can be busy, which is why we want to give you a few simple tips on how to improve your nutrition this season. 1. Try to eat more root vegetables The majority of root vegetables are available all year, but they are most ripe from fall to spring. During the cooler months, garlic, onions, ginger, turnips, carrots, sweet potatoes, beets, and parsnips provide plenty of flavor and nutrients. Many root vegetables are high in folate, which is essential for cell growth and metabolism!

Recipe Of The Month: Pumpkin Cheesecake
Ingredients: • 2.8 oz butter, melted, plus extra for the tin • 9.7 oz digestive or ginger biscuits • 1 large egg white (use the egg yolk in the filling, below) For the filling
• 7 oz light brown soft sugar • 1.8 oz plain flour • 5 large eggs, plus 1 large yolk To serve • 13.5 fl oz whipping cream • Ground cinnamon or pumpkin spice, for dusting
• 28.2 oz full-fat soft cheese • 15 oz can pumpkin purée
• 0.9 oz pecans, chopped • 3 tbsp caramel sauce
Directions: Heat the oven to 430°F (400°F for a fan oven) or Gas Mark 7. Butter an 8.6-inch loose-bottomed cake tin and line it with baking parchment. Wrap the base and side of the tin with three layers of plastic wrap and then three layers of foil to keep it waterproof during baking. Fold a clean tea towel and place it in the base of a large roasting pan. Blitz the biscuits to crumbs in a food processor, then add the melted butter and pulse to coat the crumbs. Tip the mixture into the prepared cake tin, spreading it up to the sides and pressing down with the back of a spoon. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven, brush with the egg white, and bake for another 3 minutes. For the filling, put 28.2 oz of full-fat soft cheese in a bowl or stand mixer and beat until loosened. Add 15 oz of pumpkin purée, 7 oz of light brown soft sugar, and 1.8 oz of plain flour, then beat until combined. Gradually add 5 large eggs and 1 large egg yolk until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Pour the filling over the baked biscuit base, place the cake tin on the tea towel in the roasting pan, and pour just-boiled water into the roasting pan so it comes halfway up the side of the cake tin. Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 230°F (200°F for a fan oven) or Gas Mark ¼, and bake for an additional 1 hour 30 minutes until the cheesecake is set with a slight wobble in the middle. Turn off the oven, open the door slightly, and let the cheesecake cool inside for 2 hours. Remove from the oven and chill overnight. Carefully remove the cheesecake from the tin and transfer it to a cake stand or serving plate. Whip 13.5 fl oz of cream to soft peaks and spoon it over the cheesecake. Dust with cinnamon or pumpkin spice, sprinkle with chopped pecans (about 0.9 oz), and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

“Telehealth involves using telecommunications and virtual technology to deliver healthcare outside of traditional healthcare facilities. Telehealth, which requires access only to telecommunications, is the most basic element of “eHealth,” which uses a broader range of information and communication technologies (ICTs). Telehealth examples include virtual home health care, where patients such as the chronically ill or the elderly may receive guidance in specific procedures while remaining at home. Telehealth has also made it easier for healthcare workers in remote field settings to obtain advice from professionals elsewhere in diagnosis, care, and referral of patients. Training can sometimes also be delivered via telehealth schemes or related technologies such as eHealth, which uses small computers and the internet. Well-designed telehealth schemes can improve healthcare access and outcomes, particularly for chronic disease treatment and vulnerable groups. Not only do they reduce demands on crowded facilities, but they also create cost We Offer Telehealth
savings and make the health sector more resilient. Since remote communication and treatment of patients reduce the number of health service visits, transport-related emissions and operational requirements emissions are reduced. In addition, fewer space demands can result in smaller health facilities, with concurrent reductions in construction materials, energy and water consumption, waste, and overall environmental impact.”
