Their first game at home proved very satisfying for the Vankleek Hill Cougars. The Cougars crowned the Bytown Royals 10-3 Saturday night at the Vankleek Hill Arena. Jonathan Lacroix scored a hat trick, while Keean McEarchern punched in a pair of goals. Other Vankleek Hill goals came from Shayne Allen, Nicolas Castonguay, Zack Labbé, Trystan Lavoie, and Samuel Lemay. Assisting on the goals were Allen, Cas- tonguay, Lavoie, Nikolas Ayotte, Justin Chaumont, Brendan Easterbrook, Jonathan Leblanc, Christophe Quann, Maxim Rozon, Joey Simoneau, and Stamatis Skotidakis. Frederick Durocher guarded the Cougars’ net.
