Track Your Usage It’s easy to underestimate how much time you’re actually spending on your phone because it’s likely in short bursts throughout the day. But those few minutes can add up to more time than you realize. Download a phone-usage app to track where you’re spending the most and least of your time. This way, you’ll know what you can get rid of and what you need to be more conscious about using too frequently. Cleaning up the way you use your phone is just as important as cleaning up what’s actually on your phone. It’s easy to get bogged down by the clutter on our devices these days, but if you take some time to clean them out, you’ll feel the freedom that results. Push (Away) Notifications Some notifications are important to have, but most aren’t. For instance, you don’t need to be reminded of someone’s birthday if you barely speak to them.
