Shopmobility is Jersey’s only charity dedicated to helping visitors and Islanders with limited mobility enjoy St. Helier. Based on the lower ground floor of Sand Street Car Park, it offers a range of hire equipment including powered scooters, manual and powered wheelchairs, walkers, rollators and other mobility aids. The scheme is a member of Shopmobility UK, meeting recognised quality and safety standards. Free parking is available for customers using the service, with dedicated bays on the lower ground floor. Shopmobility operates Monday to Saturday, with seasonal opening hours, and is closed on Bank and Public Holidays. Advance booking is recommended, particularly during busy periods. Equipment can be delivered free of charge to approved hotels or private addresses. Staff are available to demonstrate equipment and provide guidance.
