fore, assume that dinosaurs and men lived about the same time. In 1917 it has been reported that the Russians, under the czar, went to the top of Mt. Ararat to discover the Ark. The ice had melted down allowing them to go and take pictures of it. All of this information was brought back to their emperor who was killed three days later by the Communists. It is assumed that the records were then destroyed. Interestingly, the flyer who had first observed the Ark from the air came to America and was converted to Christianity. Before he died he told of seeing one huge door in the ark's side which was about 20 feet square. No one knew why it was that big. Inside there were some rooms bigger than those necessary for elephants. The partitions between those rooms were two feet thick and made of solid, hand cut logs. It is not hard to imagine that with these giants in the days of Noah they may have had a useful part in the heavy work of construction. In 1955 an explorer found a beam in the ice 150 feet long. You could imagine the weight of it. The basic causes of the flood seem very clear. It all boils down to one word, "evil." This is both on the part of the human race as well as of these sinful, disobedient angels who had gone after strange flesh. PREPARATION FOR THE FLOOD Noah was given specific instruc tions as to the building of the ark. The steps included the construc tion, the provisions, and the final preparation of the occupants. First he was told to use gopher wood. No one seems to know for

While I realize that these created beings do not have sex, yet we do find that in Old Testament times angels on various occasions used their su pernatural power taking to them selves bodies of men. Many fine Bible scholars hold to this view, while equally dedicated students of the Word consider them to be from the godly line of Seth. Why would daughters be picked out on the ungodly side while the sons would represent the godly? It seems very plausible that what happened was that these angels disobeyed God in committing a terrible sin. They assumed the bodies of men only to cohabit with the daughters of the human race. The Lord was so disgusted and an gry with their actions that the pro nouncement about the destruction of the human race could well be a part of the results. Because of this unholy contamination the whole race was corrupted and ru ined. In the book of Jude we have a record which may refer to these same angels (vs. 6). They did not keep their first estate and as a result are being "reserved in ever lasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." This would seem to be a special group of fallen angels who de served such punishment. The end result in any case were an offspring of giants. Perhaps you have seen pictures of the foot prints discovered in Texas of ap parent giants. The one I have a print of, measures 17 inches in length. It is also 8 inches across at the sole. It was also found that next to these many footprints were dinosaur tracks. We can, there
