The Museum and Art Gallery presents the story of Jersey from the Ice Age to the present day and displays some of the island’s finest treasures. The Merchant’s House is a restored Victorian house and presents the life of a prominent Jersey family. There is ramp access to all areas in the main museum, lift access to all floors, audio guides and accessible toilet facilities throughout. There is also a hearing loop available in the audio–visual theatre. Their spacious showroom allows full access even when busy. Large turning circles and flat fronted cabinets enable close-up browsing suitable for buggies, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
