Feb. 24: Coffee with a Ranger Marin County locals can get to know the Camino Alto Open Space park rangers with a steaming cup of joe on Feb. 24. Participants can ask questions pertaining to the preserves and rangers will be sure to educate everyone on visitor etiquette and safety at the parks. The meet and greet will last from 8-10 a.m. and attendees should meet at the trailhead on Escalon Fire Road in Mill Valley. This event is open to everyone and no registration is required.
Feb. 17 (Every month on the third Saturday) Garden with the Masters This event offers an opportunity for families to get their hands dirty and learn the art of gardening. Join OLE Health and the UC Master Gardeners of Napa County at the Darioush Community Garden, 300 Hartle Court in Napa, every third Saturday of the month. Attendees will learn about everything from planting to harvesting. There will also be stickers available for kiddos and you will get to go home with your plant! This event is free and open to ages 5 and over but prior registration is required. For more information visit olehealth.org .
Feb. 13: Carson Falls This 4-mile trek along the Pine Mountain Fire Road on Feb. 13 will allow attendees to explore the lush forest and take in the jaw-dropping waterfall. The falls will be the ideal spot for a quick lunch break, it is also one of the few remaining breeding sites in Marin for the rare foothill yellow-legged frog. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. traverse the rocky terrain and don’t forget to bring your own lunch and binoculars if you have them. Registration is required for this event at marincounty.org . Meet at the Azalea Hill trailhead near Fairfax on the day of the event.

Feb. 10: Valentine’s Dinner From 6-9 p.m. on Feb. 10 indulge in an elegant Valentine’s Dinner at Cliff Lede Vineyards, 1451 Yountville Cross Road in Yountville. Hors-d’oeuvres will be passed around the event before a multi-course dinner paired with a variety of wines. Look forward to a delectable dessert course as well, consisting of chocolate cake with cabernet poached pear and crème anglaise. Feb. 17 (Every month on the third Saturday) Wine 101 Class—Napa Experience The Wine 101 Live classroom experience takes place the third Saturday of the month. Located at the Napa Valley Wine Academy, 2501 Oak St. in Napa, attendees will test their senses and taste all that the Napa Valley wineries have to offer, more specifically eight different kinds of wine. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. sip away and enjoy the four hours of classroom instruction. Tickets are $299 and can be purchased at napavalleywineacademy.com .
Feb. 22: ABBAFab Craving nostalgia? Well, walk down memory lane with popular tribute band, ABBAFab. On Feb. 22 from 7:30- 9:30 p.m. listen to the sweet sounds of classic songs such as: “Dancing Queen,” “Fernando,” “Honey Honey,” “Waterloo” and many more. Members of ABBAFab have toured the world and they will be making a pitstop at the Marin Center Showcase Theater, 20 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael. Tickets start at $55 and can be purchased on tickets.marincenter.org .
