Feb. 21: Homeschool Day: Beach and Boards Another fun event for the whole family to enjoy. On Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. kids can participate in hands-on activities about the ocean, water, waves and more. The Charles M. Schulz Museum, 2301 Hardies Lane in Santa Rosa, is honoring its upcoming exhibition Cowabunga, Peanuts! Explore the oceans and maybe even test out your ice-skating skills from 12:30-2 p.m. Registration is required at schulzmuseum.org. Prices vary depending on activities.
Feb. 23: The Psychology of Serial Killers True-crime fanatics have the opportunity to learn about “The Psychology of Serial Killers” on Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. Dr. Rachel Toles, a practicing clinical psychologist, crime expert and social media personality, will guide attendees through these tormented minds. Finally, burning questions will be answered at the Uptown Theater Napa, 1350 Third St: Why do some people become serial killers? Is animal cruelty a red flag for later violence?
Feb. 10: Second Saturday Cartoonist: Amber Rankin Time to take all those cartoon-crazed kiddos to the Charles M. Schulz Museum, 2301 Hardies Lane, to watch as 2D animator and illustrator Amber Rankin teaches all about animation. Rankin currently animates and designs in tech; she has also worked on several short films including Let’s Eat and Amped. The event is included with museum admission. The event is from 1-3 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at schulzmuseum.org.

Feb. 28: Rodney Strong Dance Series Hālau Hula Ka No’eau Celebrating its 35th anniversary, Hālau Hula Ka No’eau is dedicated to preserving and performing traditional hula styles that descend from the lineage of O’ahu’s renowned Maika Aiu Lake. Teaching that the art of Hawaiian dance expresses all that we see, hear, smell, touch, taste and feel, Lake was a leading figure in the Hawaiian and hula renaissance of the 1970s, which restored and renewed the knowledge of Hawaiian cultural traditions that had almost disappeared, and which set the stage for today’s blossoming of hula. Begins 7:30 p.m. at 50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa. Tickets are $35 -$49 and can be purchased on tickets. lutherburbankcenter.org.
Feb. 16: Whose Live Anyway? Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis and Joel Murray will put smiles on the crowds faces on Feb. 16 with Whose Live Anyway? From 8-10 p.m. at the Luther Burbank Center for Arts, 50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa, this improvised comedy show will have attendees bursting out in laughter. Whose Live Anyway? showcases some of the improv games made famous on the long-running TV show Whose Line Is It Anyway? Tickets are $39-$59 and can be purchased at tickets. lutherburbankcenter.org.
Feb. 24: Social Afternoon Tea On Feb. 24 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. enjoy an afternoon filled with tea and good conversation. Nibble on savory bites and sweet treats on fine antique china curated by Lauren Ackerman. Head to the Ackerman Heritage House, 608 Randolph St. in Napa, and immerse in this Social Afternoon Tea. Tickets are $70 and can be purchased on exploretok.com.
