T he campaign was officially launched with a donation of more than 500 items of women’s clothing that were previously part of Air Serbia's flight and cabin crew uniforms, which will now serve a new purpose and help boost the confidence of the women who are supported by the “Dress for Success” organisation. Air Serbia's HR team held a series of educational workshops over the previous month, aimed at facilitating women's integration into the business environment, improving their competitiveness on the job market and, ultimately, increasing their independence. “We are very pleased to have launched a partnership with the “Dress for Success” organisation, as Air Serbia places great importance on gender issues and all other forms of equality in its operations. This campaign is more than just a donation — it is a symbol of unity, where, through collaboration, we promote inclusivity, equal opportunities and the empowerment of women from all walks of life, because we believe that every woman deserves the chance to reach her full potential — both in her professional and personal worlds. We are proud that, together with Air Serbia, we are enabling women to seek new career opportunities to feel powerful, competent and ready for all professional challenges,” said Sandra Abramović, executive director of the organisation “Dress for Success Belgrade”.
Air Serbia and “Dress for Success” have implemented a programme aimed at educating unemployed women by providing support in job seeking, business attire and navigating the work environment. Through a series of workshops, participants will gain opportunities to enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities to improve their employability and position on the job market, as well as starting their own businesses. “Dress for Success Belgrade” is part of the international “Dress for Success Worldwide” network, which supports women in more than 136 cities across 20 countries. Since its founding in 1997, this international organisation has helped over 1.3 million women worldwide. It has been operating in the Serbian capital since 2016, offering support to unemployed women and those facing socioeconomic challenges by providing appropriate business attire and various development tools for career advancement, to improve employability and foster greater independence.
