Welcome to our 48 th Annual Bull Sale! I would like to take this opportunity to personally welcome you to our ranch for our annual sale on April 1, 2025. The sale will start at 1:00 pm and lunch will be served starting at 11:00. We would enjoy the opportunity for you to personally attend and view the cattle in person. The offering this year is the most complete and powerful group of sale cattle we have had the opportunity to produce. They yearling bulls are full of quality from top to bottom, the two-year-old bulls are another outstanding group that have not been offered for sale before, most all of them were in service here last summer. The female offering is the best group we have offered featuring the three registered heifers who are the highest quality females we have ever sold. We put forth a great deal of thought and effort into our breeding program. Constantly trying to improve our product from every aspect. Utilizing technology, common sense, and livestock savvy to produce a product that will help your operation to achieve higher levels of sustainability and profit. Realizing the mother cow is the profit center, we put great emphasis on improving the maternal characteristics of our offering. Added fleshing ability, fertility, disposition, udder quality, foot quality and the list goes on and on. Things that can’t be measured are constantly being evaluated. But we also realize the needed opportunity to capture more value from the entire calf crop, this brings us to the added emphasis of carcass merit. Cattle that do well in the feedlot and on the rail are simply worth more, that is an undeniable fact. We are doing are best to produce seedstock that will add value to your ENTIRE calf crop. The rancher needs a great cowherd, and the consumer needs a great product. We aim to produce cattle that excel in every aspect to help achieve this goal. I would also like to take this time to personally thank our entire family for all the effort and time they put into the ranch. We are truly a family operation, and this could not be possible without all their effort and support throughout the year. TRUCKING Load up your bulls via our drive thru load-out on sale day, or within one week of the sale and receive $100 for each bull purchased. If you pick up your bulls at the ranch before May 1st we will offer a $50 discount per bull. Or, leave your trailer at home and we’ll deliver up to 500 miles at no cost to you. We just ask that for bulls purchased outside of ND that you would please be willing to travel to central drop points to make delivery feasible and avoid cattle being in transit for too long a time period. BREEDING GUARANTEE All bulls guaranteed against injury throughout the first breeding season. If a suitable replacement bull is not available when needed, credit will be issued for next year’s sale. SIGHT UNSEEN PURCHASE GUARANTEE We guarantee the bulls will be as described and to your liking, or you don’t own them. VOLUME DISCOUNTS Volume Discounts will be offered starting at 3 Bulls - 3% and increasing 1% for each additional bull up to 10 bulls - 10% maximum discount. Balance is a bull whose name appropriately describes what he is achieving as a breeding bull. His progeny excel in all facets of the production cycle. They have a great number profile but also have all the phenotypic qualities to make outstanding cattle for our region. Balance progeny are docile, good footed, easy fleshing, and high performing with great maternal and carcass characteristics. The Balance daughters are highlights in the calving barn as well. They have lots of milk with great udders, are excellent mothers, docile, easy fleshing, really good footed and are having excellent calves. His contribution to our program is noteworthy. The sale features some of the best individuals we have ever sold, from the yearlings to the two year olds to the registered heifers. He is proving to be the very definition of “excellence in all traits”.

Most catalogs start with lot 1, but we aren’t exactly known for being ordinary, just like this bull is everything but ordinary. Lot 5 hits you hard on paper and even harder in person with a giant rump and back shape, a bold rib cage, awesome feet and a smooth running gear. He has got herd bull power in a calving ease package; and while having all the phenotype, his genotype is just as good! With his 1.4 Marbling and Ribeye EPD to a 91 $M and a 370 $C. He is the top 25% for 14 EPD categories. His mother is one that we are all a fan of. She is from the very potent Blackbird cow family and a cow that’s stout and good looking with a great udder.

Enlist is way more than just our heifer bull. He has extra phenotype and foot quality while being well balanced with a “no-holes” EPD package. He has a big, square hip combined with a big round ribcage and a long smooth front with an awesome Angus head. He is correct in his structure and is an athlete in the pasture. Every great bull has a great mother and the Peg 912 cow is no exception. He has surpassed our expectations with his super consistent first calf crop. We are very excited for the futre of the great, young, herd sire.

What a way to highlight our new herd sire, ENLIST! This first Enlist is a dandy and has been Tony’s favorite since May. A bull that when we pictured looked just like his dad. A very balanced bull from head to tail who is long necked, has a big center body, awesome feet and has eye appeal with a stud look. Being out of a first calf heifer and weaning off at nearly 900 pounds, isn’t heard of often and that cow just flat out worked hard! A young cow that knocked it out of the park the first time and we only have high hopes for her future here.

His daughters are docile, highly maternal with excellent udders, and are having outstanding progeny. Their easy fleshing, sharp fronted design are sure to make them the front pasture type of cows for years to come. He is a bull with an outstanding numeric profile but also produces the right kind to be profitable in all areas of beef production.
