With a keen attention to detail and a commitment to learning the nuances of each individual client’s situation, Jason Elgersma focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He is experienced in both tort and contract actions, as well as appeals. Adept at helping clients identify the problems and opportunities presented by their matters, Jason is committed to providing clear communication as he works through clients’ legal issues, with the ultimate goal of delivering tangible and favorable results. Prior to private practice, Jason was a judicial intern for the Honorable Lee Yeakel in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

A native West Virginian who cut his teeth in the Mountain State, Dylan Hughes relocated to Texas to continue growing his practice in labor and employment law. His practice includes advice and counsel, investigations and litigation related to a broad range of employment issues, including handling matters related to the EEOC, OSHA, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, and various state and federal regulations. Clients appreciate his ability to find unique solutions and provide counsel to help them make informed decisions on their workplace issues.

As an associate in the firm’s litigation practice, Taylor Montgomery focuses on commercial, as well as labor and employment, claims and disputes. She brings extensive experience representing clients in state and federal courts, as well as in appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Supreme Court of Texas. Mackenzie Arnold graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2024. During her time at SMU Dedman, she was a judicial intern for both Judge Reed O’Connor, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and Judge Brantley Starr, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, where she was able to see the inner workings of judicial chambers, form meaningful relationships, and observe multiple substantive hearings and jury trials. Mackenzie will return to work with Judge Brantley Starr as a clerk this fall.
