Our attorneys serve the community in a variety of different ways, from donating their time to boards to chairing committees to honing their skills in leadership programs. Below are a few highlights. Katie Beaird, Partner, Family Gateway Board of Directors Partner Katie Beaird has served on the board of directors for Family Gateway since 2020. Family Gateway is a Dallas-based 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to help provide stability and life-changing supportive services to children and families affected by homelessness. In addition to operating an emergency shelter in Dallas, Family Gateway also provides assessment and diversion services, supportive housing, case management and education programming. Ben Riemer, Partner, Association of Corporate Growth President-Elect Partner Ben Riemer serves as president-elect of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter (ACG DFW). Founded in 1954, ACG is the premier M&A deal-making community with a mission of driving middle-market growth. ACG’s global network operates within 61 local markets worldwide and comprises more than 100,000 middle market professionals who invest in, own and advise growing companies. ACG DFW serves as a conduit for forming powerful relationships with the key players of DFW’s middle market community. Chris Trowbridge, Managing Partner, Legalink Chairman Managing Partner Chris Trowbridge serves as the chairman of Legalink. Legalink is an international legal Network of 68 independent business-oriented law firms. The Network is Chambers ranked and now composed of more than 4,000 legal professionals. “It’s a high honor to serve as chairman of Legalink. Bell Nunnally has been fortunate to be a member of the network for almost 10 years, and it has been a wonderful experience as we have expanded our capabilities thanks to Legalink’s global reach and high- caliber roster of firms and attorneys. What’s great about Legalink is that we are truly a collaborative network, rather than just a branding exercise. Our practice groups – in areas such as international litigation and arbitration, FinTech, labour & employment, and M&A – bring together outstanding legal minds to collaborate and innovate, driving the dialogue of law forward and opening new pathways to success for our clients,” Chris remarked in an interview regarding Legalink.
