March 28 - 29: Dinner and a Show with Petty Theft Enjoy dinner at Rancho Nicasio, 1 Old Rancheria Road in Nicasio, accompanied by the sounds of Petty Theft on March 28 and 29 at 7:30 p.m. A San Francisco-based Tom Petty tribute band, Petty Theft is sure to put on a lively show. April 5: Spring Charcuterie Workshop at Marin Art and Garden Center On April 5, head to Marin Art and Garden Center, 30 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in Ross, to learn how to craft the perfect spring charcuterie board. Led by Mill Valley Boards creator, Debbie, attendees will learn professional tips and tricks from 2 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person and included in the ticket price is a 10-inch compostable bamboo board, a selection of fine cheeses and charcuterie as well as light bites and libations. March 28 – April 6: San Rafael Spring Carnival The San Rafael Spring Carnival runs from March 28 to April 6. Located at the Marin County Fairgrounds, 10 Avenue of Flags in San Rafael, the carnival will be equipped with 12 thrilling rides and don’t miss out on your favorite fair foods! You can eat your weight in hand dipped corn dogs, cotton candy, caramel apples and so much more. March 30: Bee Experienced at Heidrun Meadery Resident beekeepers at Heidrun Meadery, 11925 State Route 1 at Point Reyes Station, Bonnie and Gary will show attendees the ropes through the apicultural program on March 30. Once the introductions have been made, participants will suit up in their beekeeping attire and head to work out at the apiary—the session runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bonnie and Gary will assist as frames are pulled from the apiary to be jarred and you will be able to take the fruits of your labor home! Guests will also learn how honey is made into mead. Tickets are $135 per person and can be purchased at heidrunmeadery.com .
