The geological record of Earth is an open book and is there for all to read; it cannot be changed, so it is the ultimate reference.” That love of geology is another reason for his continued involvement with the APEGA Board of Examiners. “I’m retired and therefore busier than ever. But I’ll keep going for as long as I have the energy. It does take a special kind of individual to step up and it’s not fun all the time. But it is important.”
