Education / Qualifications Registered Clinical Practitioner with current experience of a healthcare setting with extensive contemporary experience as manager or specialist team leader in healthcare Educated to Masters level or equivalent demonstrable experience. Desirable qualification in Management or Leadership. Experience Experience of budgetary control and staff management Experience of leading or managing change or service redesign. Experience of effective leadership within an organisation. Worked at a senior level previously with line management responsibility and be able to demonstrate ability to supervise the practice of others. A commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional development. Experience within an educational environment Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to exert influence and develop constructive working relationships with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical staff and patients. Ability / Skills Ability to prioritise workload delegate responsibility and empower staff. Ability to take responsibility, show leadership and make decisions. Able to work well with multidisciplinary team and know when to escalate to seniors. Ability to apply evidence to practice.
