FROM THE INDUSTRY

implications, especially how future data centres will be built. It also has implications on the energy grid. I think it will create fantastic opportunities for companies like Netceed. Where will you fit in? We will be part of it. I think we have a market model opportunity to integrate, to build a global platform to support infrastructure programmes in different senses of the word. I believe that the world economy has moved from a consumption-driven one to a more infrastructure-driven place. Broadband is part of the macro dynamic. Let’s see it as an opportunity to really contribute to the entire industry in the broadband piece and expand into adjacent infrastructure spaces. We also have an opportunity to build our capabilities as a one-stop shop, to build our capabilities from a global reach perspective and bring all of this together into a digital experience. I think these will be key drivers for us to truly establish ourselves as a plug-and-play, fully integrated, supply chain solution and to build digital capabilities around it, so that our customers can take full advantage of the state-of-the-art technology available. This requires more creativity, but I also think it creates opportunities. For companies like us and for individuals who want to come up with ideas, it’s a good time to go ahead and execute. Fast forward 3 years - what’s in store for you and Netceed? Great question. Really, our aim is to establish ourselves as the global leader in telecom infrastructure in the broadest sense. Today, our business ensures everybody is centred around broadband. AI is really the next big driver of growth. And it comes with very multi-dimensional
