1. Equipment Needed: 2 x Midas HD96-24-CC-TP Digital Consoles 2 x Klark Teknik DN9680 Multiplexers 6 x Midas DL231 Microphone Splitter I/O Boxes CAT5e STP cabling 2. Console Connection: Each HD console connects via the HyperMac snake connection to the DN9680 multiplexer using two single CAT5e cables. The DN9680s then distribute 192 bidirectional channels to 8 x AES50 ports per multiplexer. 3. DL231 Microphone Splitter Connection: The DN9680s connect to the DL231 I/O Boxes. Six of these I/O boxes are used to split and distribute audio signals, ensuring that each console receives the inputs it needs. The "A" ports connect to one console, while the "B" ports connect to the other, creating a symphony of audio control. 4. Splitting Outputs: 5 x DL231s are configured to receive outputs from the monitor console, enabling up to 120 monitor mixes. These can be 60 x stereo mixes or 120 mono mixes, or a blend as required. 1 x DL231 is set to receive the output source from the front of house console, handling PA, subs, matrix mixes for out-fills, front-fills, delay systems, and more.
